KIPL: “Training/Retraining of Staff Will Boost Productivity” – Hajiya Aisha Suleiman

In a bid to meet the international standard and enhance Staff productivity, the Kogi Investment and Property Limited (KIPL), has commenced the Training of Staff on Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

Speaking at the event, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of KIPL, Hajiya Aisha Suleiman, said the Training was initiated to enable Staff of the Agency acquire skills for both Office and personal development.

Hajiya Aisha explained that the Governor Yahaya Bello led administration in the State has accorded more attention to digitalization of all sectors, hence the need for the Agency to follow suite.

The KIPL MD/CEO explained that in view of the current trend of technological development across all sectors, the Training will help her Staff acquire new knowledge that will in turn, boost their creativity, productivity and also create more avenue for them to reach out to potential investors.

“You will agree with me that no Organization can perform effectively in today’s World without the application of ICT because we have transited from the Analog to Digital era.

 

“As an Investment Company; we need to automate our system of operation, this is the ongoing Capacity Training is key to all Staff, we need to acquire new knowledge because we have a long way to go as an Agency

“More so, the World has become a global village and as an investment House, we are not wooing investors only at the local level, we are wooing international investors. So with this Capacity Training especially on ICT, we can do a lot from the comfort of our Office and bring the World to us” Hajiya Aisha Suleiman said.

She enjoined members of staffers to take the Training serious, stressing that the Agency has invested much to ensure the Training see the light of the day.

The Consultant handling the Training, Avazi Ebenezer, said the Training focuses on digital transformation where Staff of the Agency acquire skills on Information and Communication Technology to help them improve on their general output.

Ebenezer noted that basic skills are essential in the present World, calling on KIPL Staff to give utmost attention to the Training.

In an interview with KIPL General Manager – Investment, Mr. Godwin Yetu Akpam, explained that the Training is crucial to all Staff of the Agency because of its importance, saying that the knowledge gained at the Training will go a long way at improving their productivity.

Mr. Akpam appreciated Hajia Aisha Suleiman for organizing the Training for members of staffers, describing her as a visionary, committed and a fellow with the progress of the Agency at heart.

On his part KIPL Ag. General Manager – Administration, Aliyu Isah Oziobe, expressed satisfaction with the Agency’s decision to embark on the ICT Training for the Staff of the Agency, describing it as a right step in the right direction.

Aliu Oziobe also appreciated Hajia Aisha Suleiman for her foresight at initiating the Training, describing her as a rare amazon who has made the progress of the Agency a priority.

Similarly, the KIPL GM – Property, Isah Otori Haruna, noted that the Training was an eye opener to Staff of the Organization, stressing that it will serve as a boost to them while carrying out their duties.

While commending Hajia Aisha for her commitment and initiatives at seeing to the growth of the Agency, Haruna prayed for more of Allah’s wisdom upon the MD/CEO to enable her achieve her laudable plans for the Agency.
