Kogi Communities urges Bello to provide water, as Auditor General sinks boreholes, Supply Electricity.

Our Communities in Dekina local government area of Kogi state have appealed to the state Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, to as a matter of necessity rescue the area from the acute shortage of drinking water that has become prevalent for decades.
They lamented that the available sources of water are being shared by human beings and animals which has led to cases of water-borne diseases with severe consequences.
The traditional ruler of Ogbaloto, Alhaji Ibrahim Omatiga, Omachi Attah Modu of Odu, appealed on Saturday while receiving on behalf of the Community, the 5000-liter capacity electrically-propelled borehole, sunk by Alhaji Yakubu Yusuf Okala, the Kogi state Auditor General.
The borehole which was handed over to the community by the Personal Assistant to Auditor General, Mr. Abdullahi Suleiman is believed will lessen the perennial water scarcity that has been a nightmare for thousands of residents of the area.
Chief Omatiga, while appreciating the efforts of Honourable Yakubu Okala for his positive response to the yearnings of the people of the community, appealed to the Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, to wade in in his usual magnanimity to rescue the entire people of the area by providing them with adequate portable drinking water.
The Monarch, who commended the Governor over the execution of several projects across the state, assured him of the unflinching support and loyalty, wishing him success in his quest to lead Nigeria and redeem it from the clutches of bad leaders.
Hundreds of residents of the area led by the Community leader, Mohammed Isa, Youths leader Bala Atai, Gago of the area Mohammed Fada Oseni, APC Ward Chairman Hon Akuh Abdullahi, and the Councillor representing Odu 1 Hon. Suleiman Mohammed, in their separate speeches, thanked the Auditor General for his commitment to the well-being of the people of Odu Ogbaloto.
They praised the State Auditor General, Alhaji Yakubu Okala for his deep passion in investing in the human and infrastructural growth of their various communities adding that the duo of Senator Jibrin Isah and Alhaji Yakubu Okala have made them proud for their contributions to the rapid development of Dekina local government in general.
Thanking the Community leaders, APC leadership, and the entire people of the areas, the Personal Assistance to the Auditor General, Mr. Abdullahi Suleiman urged them to maintain and sustain their loyalty and commitment to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to gain more dividends of democracy.
He, therefore, tasked the leaders and the entire people of the areas to protect both government and privately provided infrastructure meant for their well-being and report any suspicious movements of saboteurs to the relevant authorities.
