The mother of Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Adoza Bello, Hajia Hauwu Oziohu Bello, died aged 101.
The governor who disclosed this in a statement signed by himself, released by his CPS, Onogwu Muhammed and made available to journalists said his mother died on Sunday.
“It is with a heavy heart, but with trust in God, I announce the passing on of my dear mother, Hajia Hauwa Oziohu Bello. She died on the 15th of March 2020, where she had been receiving treatment,” he said.
Late Hajia Hauwa Oziohu Bello was said to been receiving treatment at Abuja hospital, where she eventually pass on.
Though, the statement did not disclose the late mother’s illness
Her remains will be buried according to Islamic rite on 16th March, 2020 at her resident Nagazi, Adavi LGA of Kogi State.
