Kogi Guber: AA Candidate Olayinka Braimoh ignores Okun elders endorsement of Abejide.

IDRIS AHMED, Lokoja.

Kogi State Governorship candidate of the Action Alliance, AA, for the November election, Chief Olayinka Braimoh, has dismissed with a wave of hand, the purported endorsement of Honourable Leke Abejide by Okun elders from the Western Senatorial district of the state.

Chief Braimoh, while ignoring the endorsement as an exercise in futility, which will not favour their ethnic and religious agenda

He said already there exist several agendas like Kogi, Igala and Ebira agenda, none of which is seeking to ameliorate the suffering of the people across the state.

The Governorship candidate disclosed that his agenda is the poor and the vulnerable people who are in the majority in the state and not to pursue any other divisive tendencies.

He expressed sadness that poverty has conquered the people despite available resources that be transformed into wealth.

Breaimoh said the Okun elders can decide to endorse, but will enthrone and if given the opportunity, Kogi state will witness rapid transformation in Agriculture, mining, technology, education, health and infrastructure.

Speaking further, the AA Candidate noted with dismay the neglect of the women whom he described as most enterprising, promising to empower and train them to small businesses to be command the home front.

He said majority of Teachers, Nurses, Traders , food sellers are women and therefore deserve better treatment .

Braimoh promised to engage the Independent National Electoral Commission on the conduct of the election, especially at the polling units where the real action will take place.

He commended the election tribunals for annulling fraudulent outcome of elections across the country as a result of the use of the almighty BVAS during the last election.

The Governorship express confidence and optimism in the INEC conducting the November election in the state.

He warned politicians who believe in violence to desist in their own interest or may be consumed by their own actions.
