Kogi Guber: APC alleges opposition vandalized its Dekina secretariat.

The All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kogi state alleged that its Dekina Local Government Area office has been vandalised by persons suspected to be thugs of the opposition political parties.
Kogi state Commissioner of Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo, who is also the Spokesman for the Kogi APC Governorship Campaign Council, made the allegation on Friday in Lokoja.
In a statement the APC campaign Spokesman said: “This is to bring to the attention of the general public and security agencies that our Campaign Office in Dekina LGA has been vandalised by hoodlums.
“We want to commend the people of Kogi East for standing by the candidate, who signposts the unity of our dear state and for believing in a united and prosperous state. ”
Fanwo, urged supporters of the APC in Dekina LGA to avoid the temptation of launching a reprisal even in the face provocation and intimidatiin, reminding them of their avowed peaceful disposition.
He said that the Legal Directorate of the party was compiling a comprehensive report, after preliminary report had been lodged.
When contacted, SDP State Secretary, Dr Arome Okeme, denied the allegation and described it as the very architect of APC trying to drag his party (SDP) in the mud.
Okeme said SDP and its supporters remained peaceful and hopeful of victory, urging members of the party not to be distracted and be very vigilant as the APC continue to raise false alarm.
He alleged that the APC has deviced a strategy of diverting attention of the public and security agencies from their organised on going violence against SDP supporters across the state.
