Addressing a press conference immediately after the meeting of thousands of members of the Kogi Independent Campaign Council, ICC, in Lokoja, Chairman of the group, Alhaji Adams Onota, represented by Dr Sani Ozomota, disclosed that their activities will centre on house holds, Communities and electoral wards level.

Alhaji Onota explained that the membership of the Independent Campaign Council is voluntary and not induced by monetary or material considerations.

He expressed confidence in the ability and capabilities of the members to deliver in view of the contributions they have so far made for the success of the campaigns across the state.

According to the Chairman, the ICC does harbours all ethnic and religious groups across the state and is working hard to disabuse the minds of those inclined to ethnic agenda.

He said the progress of the state does not and can not be hinged on any particular ethnic group as the state belongs to all the citizens and residents.

The Chief campaigner commended Kogi state Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, for laying the foundation for the smooth and peaceful campaigns as the legacies he will bequeath are already campaign issues.
