Kogi LG Administrator Hails NULGE EXCO For 100 Days In office, Promises To Improve Welfare of Staff.

Kogi Local Government Administrator, Alhaji (Barr.) Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku assured the staff of the local government’s readiness to settle all outstanding entitlements, both financial and administrative as soon as the financial base of the council improves.

Addressing the Executives and members of the National Union of Local Government Employees Kogi local government chapter in Koton Karfe on Tuesday, Barrister Tanko who congratulated the new EXCO for their 100 days in office and commended them for their leadership qualities that has enshrined industrial harmony with the LGC management.

He reiterated the passionate position and commitment of the government to the welfare of local government workers, assuring that the situation will improve tremendously as the second term of the Bello administration kicks off January 27, 2020.

The Chief Administrator,  who appealed to the leadership of Union to understand the precarious financial position of the state, solicited their cooperation to ensure hitch free working relation in the interest of the people.

Chairman of NULGE Kogi local government branch, Comrade Mohammed Yakubu commended the Administrator for his ability to hold the entire people of the area together since his assumption of office. describing him as upright, dedicated and committed to the smooth running of the Council.

According to the Chairman of the Union, Barr. Tanko and his team have proven that they are workable and friendly servants that have been cooperating with the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) to enhance the productivity of the local government and promoting the cause of their workers.

Comrade Yakubu who gave the commendation during the 100 days celebration of NULGE Koton-Karfe branch on Tuesday, said “patriotism and selflessness was the guiding principle behind the NULGE.

According to the convener and Chairman of Nigerian Union Of Local Government Employees, NULGE, Koton-Karfe branch, Alhaji (Comrade) Mohammed Yakubu said “patriotism and selflessness has been the guiding principle assisting the Union to bring Local Governments activities to its present position”.

The Union leader added that Barr. Tanko and his team were among the NULGE-friendly leaders that ensured that the union succeeded on its day to days activities.

He therefore thanked the Administrator for his commitment to the staff of local government and commended him for purposeful leadership to the people at the grass-root.

Several speakers spoke extensively among whom were the Local Government Secretary, Hon. Babaji Ndakwo, the Treasurer Alhaji Abdullahi Ohikwura, HOD health Hajia Zainab Ibrahim, all commended NULGE and the staff over their dedication and commitments to duty.

High point of the 100 days in office celebration were, prayers in the Mosques and Churches and presentation of awards to some Local Government staff for their dedication to duty and responsiveness.

Also in attendance were former NULGE officials in the council, state officials and LG staff and among others.
