Kogi, KKF, Local Government Administrator, Hon. Barr. Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku has added another feather in his cap, as he was named 2019 recipient of the most distinguish friendly Administrator of the year for excellent service delivery and performance.
Barr. Tanko was represented by Mr. Yunusa Idris Ohikwo who was on ground to receive the award at the Nigerian Union of Journalists, NUJ, secretariat on Saturday was among many other distinguish Nigerians honoured during the event.
According to the Chief Editor/CEO Publisher of the Stewardship News Magazine, the organiser of the award, Comr. Dare Michael, Barr. Tanko was among the best performing LGAs Administrators in the year under review.
He said: “the award was instituted to stimulate fair competition for service delivery among local government Administrators, public servants and to also celebrate their exemplary qualities.”
Barr. Tanko was lauded in the area of quality service delivery and rehabilitation of schools, clinics, worshipping centers, youths, women empowerment, welfare of the Council workers, health services and education. It noted that the grassroots politician has contributed immensely in Kogi LG and beyond within 3 years of his administration.
In his reaction, Barr. Tanko appreciated God for giving him the opportunity to serve humanity, while appreciating his benefactors Gov. Yahaya Bello and his Deputy Chief David Edward Onoja, family, the entire Kogi LG staff, Administrative team for their unrelenting support for a better and greater Kogi LG. He said he has never met the organizers but was surprised how they noted all his achievements and pray God to continue to blessed them beyond imagining.
He said the new award and many others will spur him to do more.
