The people of Kogi/Koton-Karfe Local Government Area of the State have been called upon to cast their votes for the candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC comes Saturday, 12th December 2020 Local Government polls.
The Member representing the Area in the State House of Assembly, Hon. Abubakar Muhammed Tanko (TK Super), made the call in an interaction with Newsmen in Lokoja.
Hon. Muhammed Tanko who doubled as the Chairman, Campaign Council for the coming LG election in the Area said the candidate of the party, Isah Abdulkareem (ECOMONG), is a man of proven integrity, humble and committed to the progress of the Area, stressing that there was need for the people to turn out in their numbers to perform their franchise.
“The campaign have been awesome, it’s been peaceful and we’ve been pulling crowd in every of our campaign. There is no doubt about it, Kogi Local Government is for APC, we have done it before and we will do it again.
The good thing about my Constituency is that we’ve always been standing tall. We’ve been known also for delivering any task so given to us, the people are set, waiting to approach their polling unit with their PVC and cast their votes for our Chairmanship Candidate ECOMONG – A man we believe will drive down the dividends of democracy to the people of the grassroots in line with his Excellency, Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello’s directive that the people at the grassroots should feel the impact of his Administration. With all sense of humility, APC will emerge victorious, just watch out”
The lawmaker noted that the Area has always been known for peace in electioneering period and enjoined the people to sustain the peaceful co existence already established in the Area.
“We are brothers, we are sisters so we are all one. This Area has always been adjourned peaceful am sure such will be maintained before, during and after this Local Government polls. My advice to everyone both old, young, male, female is that election is an avenue for you to choose who will rule you so, do that peacefully and do not fight. Insha Allah, I see APC taking the day”
