In a bid to boost agriculture and economic activities, Kogi state government has procured 100 tractors for distribution to farmers across the 21 local government areas of the state.

Governor Yahaya Bello, while commissioning the tractors at the old stadium on Wednesday in Lokoja, said his administration will always satisfy the yearnings of the people without being pressurised.

He said “the government is very sensitive to the needs of the people and has to act appropriately before they start complaining”.

The governor explained that the state being blessed with human and natural resources , has no option than to utilise them for rapid development, stressing that his administration is poised to ensure equitable distribution of socio- economic amenities to the people.
