Hon Sabo gave the directive, in a statement by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mohammed Nuhu Waziri, said the council chairman also reassured that his administration remained committed to delivering dividends of democracy to people of the council.

He said execution of quality and durable road projects that will stand the test of time will continue to be his administration top priority.
The Chairman recalled what residents of Kuchiyako are passing through during raining season, which he said he said prompted his administration to take advantage of the dry season to ensure that a lot of progress was made on construction of projects across the council.
“You see the quality of the drainage that is being constructed; if you don’t drain the land properly, the roads will not last,”.

“It’s important that we scientifically undertake proper draining of the environment before constructing and covering the surface of the road,” he said.
“One of the challenges of the past is doing a whitewash design to make one believe that the road would be of good quality, whereas the road will not last beyond a couple of seasons.”
