Nasarawa State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Hon (Barr) Shuaibu Labaran Magaji has said the appeal court judgement removing former Speaker of the Nasarawa State House Assembly is not not limited to the All Progressives Congress, APC, family alone but rather entire Toto local government area.

The Attorney said losing a no 3 citizen means the host LG have equally lost security, governance and other dividends that may easily locate the area.

The Commissioner was Speaking in an interview with correspondent at his Toto residnce shortly after returning back from the just concluded APC stakeholders meeting held at Abdullahi Adamu Youth Centre Toto, said the lost came in rude shock following his impact while in office but was consoled with magnanimity of the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Engineer Abdullahi A Sule for his support to the area.

He disagreed with those attributing the lost to APC family alone even as he said all his impact were for all and not limited for APC.

Magaji, a former Nasarawa West APC senatorial aspirant consoled with the people of Toto LG to accept it in good faith as God Almighty knew why he did so.

“As far as court judgement is concerned is not something strange to me as a lawyer, but impact and implications goes beyond party line. It’s a huge lost to entire LG, the replacement is not commesurate with the seat.

“We’ve not just lost a seat at the State house of assembly but lost a chief lawmaker and no 3 citizen who incidentally came from Toto LG”.

Barr. Magaji who hailed from Toto LG strongly disagreed with those attributing the lost to APC alone, saying it is a lost to entire LG including people from the opposition because of the benefit Toto LG was able to attract by reason of being a speaker from Toto LG is highly monumental and we can’t shy away from that, while some people may have their own different opinions or views.

“We’re praying God to compensate the people of Toto LG for this huge lost and place the former Speaker in a bigger position so that he will continue to serve his people and humanity in general”.

Earlier at the APC stakeholders meeting which was conveyed by the Executive Chairman of Toto LGC, Hon Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas, the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr Shuaibu Labaran Magaji who was physically in attendance commended the party structures for being suppietive of the present administration.

He also warned the rumoured mongers going about lying with aims to cause division among the party leaders to desist henceforth, saying such development will not do the party any good but rather destruction and upon destruction.

He also appreciated the council boss for his commitment at uniting the people of Toto LG and urged him to sustain the tempo.

Global Times Nigeria report that the recent concluded Toto LG APC stakeholders meeting had in attendance the following leaders, Attorney General and Commissioner Justice, Hon (Barr) Shuaibu Labaran Magaji, Commissioner for Health, Dr Gaza Gwamna, State APC Secretary, Yurus Dagusa, Toto LGC Vice Chairman, Hon Abubakar Haruna Kwanakis, immediate past House of Assembly member representing Toto/Gadabuke constituency, Hon Usman Labaran Shafa and former member representing Toto/Gadabuke constituency now Executive Secretary Teacher Service Commission and erstwhile Senior Special Assistant, SSA, to Governor Sule, Hon Adah Goje

Others include former executive chairman of Toto LGC and now Secretary of Assembly Service Commission, Hon Muhammed Musa Ohinoyi (General), Senior Special Assistant on Banking, Hon Muhammed Ahmed (Oyoyo), Senior Special Assistant, SSA, on Investment, Hon Adam Uthman Shafa, Toto LG APC Chairman, Hon Shuaibu Ahmed (Adawari), Toto LG Legislative Speaker, Rt. Hon Abdullahi Ayizi-mazi, all elected councillors, supervisory councillors , youth leaders, elders, youths and some selected delegates from 12 wards among others.
