Nasarawa Assembly crisis: FHC Lafia strikes out Ogazi’s Case.

The Federal High Court Sitting in Lafia, Nasarawa State has struck out the Originating Summons filed by Hon. Daniel Ogah Ogazi and others against Rt. Hon Speaker Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi and others.

Justice Nehizena Idemudia Afolabi, the presiding judge of the Federal High Court Lafia while delivery judgement awarded cost of 300 000 to Speaker Balarabe and 100 000 each to other set of respondents that put in appearances for the case for dragging them to Court and waisting their time.

It will be recalled that the Hon Ogazi led faction has dragged the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly to Federal High Court Lafia, over the Nasarawa State House of Assembly leadership tussle.

The court session held on Monday and proceeding brought to an end the suit filed by Ogazi led faction at Federal High Court, Lafia against the Rt, Hon. Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly and Other Members of the Assembly.

Earlier, some Honourable Members said to part of Honorable Daniel Ogah Ogazi group have since joined the Speaker, Ho. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi thereby swelling the number on his camp to 14.

The Federal High Court verdict has finally settled the unnecessary crisis believed to be planned and hatched by some notable politicians that are forecasting the 2027 Nasarawa state governorship election.
