It is a heartwarming and highly commendable to see lawmakers distributing palliative support to those in need in their vatious host constituencies.

The member representing Keffi West constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon Aliyu Ibrahim Nana ( Baba Ali), has Provided essential aid to cushion the effect of hardship occasion by fuel subsidy removal and for the well-being of his people.

This effort shows that lawmakers are actively working towards addressing the needs of their constituents and helping to alleviate the hardships faced by many.

Nana who shared 20 million naiara to the people of his constituency as palliative and empowerment to improve on their standard of living and for the overall development of the constituency.

The Keffi West lawmaker equally disbursed 10,000 naira each to 1000 people totalling N10 million as empowerment and distributed 2000 bags of 5kg of rice to 2000 people as well as 1000 bags of 5kg of maize to 1000 people of his constituency as part of effort to cushion the effect of the fuel Subsidy removal in the country.

Hon Nana is a member of governing All Progressives Congress, APC, who is representing the good people of Keffi West constituency.

He is the Chairman, House Committee on Pilgrims shared the multimillion naira palliative at Muhammadu Chindo Yamusa Square, Keffi Local Government Area on Sunday.

According to him, the palliative and empowerment was to change on the lives of his people positively.

The lawmaker also donated a Sharon Bus to Keffi Emirate Council.

The lawmaker called on the beneficiaries not to sale the items but to use them to improve on their standard of living and that of their family members.

” Today I am disbursing N10,000 each to 1000 people including women and other people as well as 2000 bags of rice and 1000 bags of maize where each person will go home with a bag of rice or maize.

” This is part of my commitment to improve on my people standard of living and to cushion the effect of fuel subsidy removal on my constituents.

” I want to re-assure you all that I will continue to key into good policies and programmes that will have direct bearing on your lives and other people,” he said.

Hon Nana also assured of his continued determination to lobby for project as well as provide sound representation to his people at the state legislature.

He urged those who are yet to benefit from his gesture to be patient, adding that his empowerment programmes will be in phases for the next four years.

The lawmaker further called on the people of his constituency to be law abiding, respect constituted authorities and live peacefully with each other for development to thrive.

Also speaking,Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar Gada, Chairman Teachers Service Commission ,( TSC), who is the chairman of the occasion, Alhaji Isa Badamasi, Alhaji Tanko Abdullahi, Gov. Sule’s Special Advisers on Chieftaincy Affairs and that of Budget and Financial Planning, Hon Musa Ali, former lawmaker, Hon Isa Abdullahi Adamu, 2023 APC candidate for Keffi East constituency, Hon Baba Shehu, Chairman, Keffi LG represented by Mr Lawal Maizabo among others appreciated Hon Nana for representing his constituents well at the state legislature.

They called on the people of the constituency to support Hon Nana to succeed at all times.

It would be reported that some of the beneficiaries, who spoke appreciated Hon Nana for the gesture, assured him of their support and prayed God to bless him abundantly.
