While waiting for a rerun election, Nasarawa lawmaker, Omadefu conferred with new traditional title of ‘Iyan Agaza’ in Keana LGA.

….Gets blessings of the royal father in unit of the re-run election, assures of more dividends of democracy, drums support for APC in upcoming exercise in his constituency.

Hon Mohammed Adamu Omadefu, Member representing Keana constituency Nasarawa State House of Assembly, whose election has been declared inconclusive by Appeal Court, Abuja has assured of more dividends of democracy, if he win in the re-run election.

Omadefu APC Keana Constituency gave the assurance after he was given the traditional title of Iyan Agaza by Osoku of Agaza, Mohammed Osoku Adeka, at his palace in Keana Local Government Area of the State today.

He appreciated the monarch for the traditional title and honour as he assured him of his loyalty and support to Agaza traditional council and community at large.

” I want to appreciate you for the honour done to me as Iyan Agaza.

” I want to assure you that this honour I cherished it so much and it will encourage me to do more for the people, if I wins the re-run election.

” I also want to assure people of Agaza community and Keana constituency at large of more dividends of democracy, if elected in the forthcoming re-run election

” As we are all aware that the Court of Appeal Abuja has ordered for re-run in five polling units of Agaza,” he said.

Omadefu appealed to the people of Agaza to come out en-mass and vote for him during the re-run election.

” I will continue to provide purposeful and sound leadership at the state legislature, if I win the re-run election,” he said.

Omadefu called on the people of Agaza and the state at large to support Gov. Sule to succeed.

He also urged them to live in peace and tolerate one another irrespective of their affiliations.

Earlier, the Royal Father, Mohammed Osuku Adeka, the Osoku Agaza said that the traditional title given to Hon Omadefu was based on his leadership qualities and track records of achievements.
