Nasarawa Lawmaker Musa Ekye empowers constituents with 4 cars, 12 motorcycles, others
Member representing Doma South Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon Musa Ibrahim Abubakar, has distributed 4 peugeot cars to traditional rulers of his constituency.
He also distributed 12 motorcycles to the people of his constituency as well as gave 25 mattresses to military to support them in the fight against crime in the constituency.
Hon Musa made the distribution today in Agbashi, Ekye Development Area of the State.
Hon Musa said that the gesture was to celebrate his 100 days in office and thank the people of his constituency for voting him to the state legislature.
According to him, ” this is Thanksgiving in politics. I am here to celebrate my 100 days in office.
” I have given 25 mattresses to the military to assist them in combating crime. I have given four cars to traditoonal rulers and 12 motorcycles to the people of my constituency.
” All these gesture is to thank them for their prayers and support
” This is my personal resources not Nasarawa State House of Assembly resources,” he said
Hon Musa also disclosed that he has employed 40 people of the constituency under his pay roll.
” You have voted me to represent you at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly to make good laws for peace, progress and development of the state.
” By God’s grace, we have made laws and passed resolutions that have direct bearing on your lives and the lives of others,” he said.
He assured the people of his constituency of his determination to put smile in their faces at all times.
“By God’s grace, I will continue to put smile in your faces by initiating good policies and programmes that will have direct bearing on your lives.
” What I am doing is to improve on your standard of living and that of your family members,” he said
Hon Musa (NNPP) who is the Chairman House Committee on LG and Chieftaincy Affairs has assured. of his readiness to continue to provide quality and sound representation to the people of his constituency at the state legislature.
He also called on the people of his constituency to support him and Gov. Abdullahi Sule to succeed.
Hon Musa further called on the people of the constituency and other Nigerians to be law abiding, respect constituted authorities and live in peace with one another irrespective of their affiliations.
On his Part, Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, represented by Hon Mohammed Adamu Omadefu, the Majority Leader appreciated the lawmaker for the gesture.
The Speaker called on the people of the constituency to continue to support Hon Musa and Gov. Abdullahi Sule to succeed in order to enjoy more dividends of democracy.
The Speaker used the medium to assure the people of the state of the 7th Assembly readiness to pass good laws and resolutions that would have direct bearing on the lives of the people of the state.
On their parts, Hon Musa Saidu Gude of Uke/ Karshi Constituency and Hon Muhammad Oyanki, member representing Doma North Constituency commended the lawmaker for putting smiles on the faces of his people.
They called on the people of the constituency to support Hon Musa to succeed.
Some of the beneficiaries, who spoke during the event appreciated Hon Musa for the gesture and prayed God to bless him abundantly.
