Nasarawa Lawmaker Recovers From Illness After 7 Months, Dumped PDP For APC.

Member representing Doma South Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. John Osewu who felt sick 7months after his inauguration is back to office.

Hon. Osewu who was moved out of the state since Jan. 6th 2020.for medical treatment undergone five different surgeries and at a time the rumour of his death spread.

“The issue surrounding my health condition was a terrible experience for me. it makes me uncomfortable, some people even said that I died. Some said the speaker hide me but I thank God I’m here now, together with my colleagues, staff and you people (the press).”

Hon. Osewu who resumed in his office today, Tuesday 3rd Nov.2020.appreciated God  Almighty, the governor, speaker and his colleagues as well as the people of his constituency and well wishers for prayers, support and understanding.

Osewu, who is the House Committee Chairman on Judiciary appreciated the developmental strides and leadership styles of Gov. Abdullahi sule and speaker Balarabe Abdullahi, noting that their stewardship have encouraged him to live PDP and joined APC so that together they will provide the much needed dividends of democracy to the people.

“I want to formally and officially inform you that after consultation with my people I have left PDP for APC to enable me fully support the good thing governor Abdullahi Sule is doing for the people, that is the leadership we want.

On his part, the Deputy Chief whip of the House, Hon Ibrahim Alkali, who is the Deputy Chairman of the Judiciary committee and member representing Lafia North was in his chairman’s office to welcome him and appreciated God for his health, noting that the House has miss his contributions.

Hon John Osewu, a teacher, principal and Local Government Chairman before he was elected as member of the 6th assembly representing Doma South, have not settle down to represent his people since inauguration do to his health challenge.
