As local government election in Nasarawa State draw nearer, a famous contender and candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the October 6 Council poll, Hon. Abdullahi Aliyu Tsaha fondly called Aquatic vowed to make history if given the chance.

The APC candidate said he will focused more on security, worker’s welfare, good governance, agriculture, human capital development among other if he emerged as next Toto LG Executive Chairman.

Tashas, a former Special Adviser on conflict resolution to the Governor of Nasarawa State stated this on Wednesday during APC flag off campaign for Chairmanship and councillorship candidates in the area.

“I am a son of the soil I know the terrain very well, I know what my people want and I will my best to ensure we cross the bridge when the time comes. “.

The APC Chairmanship candidate thanked the stakeholders for making it possible for them to emerged during the last Chairmanship and councillorship primaries.

“As we are all aware security challenge is our major problem and we shall with it squarely by God willing. So our people can return back to farm and other businesses devoid of fear of an unknown. ”

He said their leadership will be very open, transparency and all inclusive one just as he pledged to uphold the confidence and trust reposed on them by Toto LG populace.

He lauded the Governor’s effort aimed at transforming the State inline with his campaign promises.

“We are coming as partner in progress, we sit and discuss with our people, traditional rulers, relevant stakeholders, women, youths and even living with disability will be carried along our new administration.” He maintained.

Hon. Abdullahi Aliyu Tashas Aquatic (AATA) was born on 7th January, 1963 some decades ago in Gwargwada electoral ward, Gadabuke Development area of Toto local government of Nasarawa State.

He had his primary school education between 1971 – 1978 at Abu Zanga primary school Keffi, Nasarawa State.

Proceeded to school of preliminary studies, Keffi, Nasarawa State between 1979 -1984 and obtained his first leaving certificate in 1984

In his quest for further education he proceeded to Bayero University, Kano between 1989 – 1992 where he bagged an Bachelor of Art Degree BUK (B. A. English / Islamic Studies) in 1992.

Had his NYSC in Enugu State at Al-miraj Islamic Centre between 1992 – 1993.

Working Experience:

He started his working Experience at Plateau State Ministry of Education 1994 – 1996.

English Part Time lecturer, Toto Campus.

He was also elected as councilor representing the good people of Gwargwada electoral ward, Toto local government in 1997-1998.
