Nasarawa Speaker Balarabe receives rousy reception In Gadabuke, Toto, Umaisha ahead of Eid-El-Kabir
…Speaker Balarabe makes first entry after his election as Speaker of the 7th Assembly.
Following his victory as the Speaker of the 7th Nasarawa State House Assembly, today received a rousy welcome by his people as he make yet another triumphant entry to his home town.
The Speaker Nasarawa State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi who was elected for Three consecutive times as Speaker returned home for the first time after his victory to head the ship of the 7th Assembly in Nasarawa State.
But the response was something else, a situation better emerging than explained, the unprecedented crowd that came out to received him was on believable with both the young and the old, male and female, youths, boys and girls trooped out in their numbers to welcome him back home.
The entire Toto Local Government Area of Nasarawa State was agog as citizens from across the twelve electoral wards of the two state constituencies that make up Toto LG, that is Toto /Gadabuke and Umaisha /Ugya converged to receive the son of the soil, their icon of hope, their tested and trusted leader whom they loved and cherished daily Speaker Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi.
From Dogon Dutse and Karmo the two boundary towns in Nasarawa and Toto LGs citizens in every town were out to welcome the son of the soil just as from Toto to Umaisha was another side to behold.
The pick of the movement climaxed at the Ohimegye Opanda Palace in Umaisha the home town of the Speaker as they gave Balarabe Abdullahi high ovation thus culminating to a stand-still in the traffic movement that make the Nasarawa State Number One Lawmaker and Number Three Citizen trekking while he receives cheers from the people of Umaisha down to the Palace.
At the Palace it was all moments of thankful and Appropriation to God and leaders, moments of admiration and cheers that led the man of the moment to address the people.
He was explicit in his speech where he maintained that the area and the LG in general has witnessed tremendous level of peace in the recent time and nothing will be allow to truncate that thus appreciated the peace effort of the Royal Father and the blessings he has been getting from him.
The Ohimegye Opanda HRH Alh Usman Abdullahi welcome the Speaker back home and assured him of continuous support and blessings to succeed.
