As the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Congress draw closer Stakeholders and party members in Nasarawa State, Monday converged in Government House Lafia for an expanded stakeholders meeting on how to achieve a peaceful and successful party congress especially towards reaching consensus agreement among other.
Speaking at the stakeholders meeting, Speaker of the State House Assembly Rt. Hon. Chief Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi lauded the Governor tireless effort aimed at sustaining the growth of the party from ward, state and national levels.

The Speaker appreciated members of the party, urging them to remain focus and believed in the leadership and administration of Governor Abdullahi Sule towards ensuring the party success in the state.
On the gale of defection hitting the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, and other opposition party in the State, Speaker Balarabe assured that two remaining Assembly members joined the APC family soonest.
He called for a leveled playing ground for both the new and old members of the party to ensure a hitched free exercise in the upcoming congress.
Governor Abdullahi Sule expressed satisfaction with the turned out of stakeholders and their efforts in peace and progress of the party.
On the upcoming party congresses which was agreed to be based on consensus Gov. Sule called on members to continued to uphold the virtues and ideals of the party for more united family.
He urged them to use the recent reforms by INEC to further the chances and win more support for APC in the state.
The meeting featured presentations from various stakeholders which include Senators Abdullahi Adamu, Tanko Almakura and Gidiya Akwashiki, Minister of State Science and Tech Barr. Mohammed Hassan Abdullahi, HE. Silas Agara as well as state APC caretaker committee Chairman among others.
