The Managing Director, Kogi State Agricultural Development Project (ADP), Prince Bello Ogirima George has charged the people of the State to draw closer to God as the year 2021 begins.
In an interview with Globaltimesnigeria.com, Prince Ogirima George said dedication to a course was is a necessity towards actualizing set goals, stressing that commitment to duty will go a long way at making 2021 better than 2020.
“First I congratulate Kogites for crossing the huddles and hustles of 2020 to 2021. It is my prayer that every negativity we encountered in 2020 should not be sighted at all this year (2021)”
“I equally want to congratulate His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi State whom I reffered to as a God-sent that have been doing his best to place Kogi State among committee of States of the Federation. We are seeing all the positive things he’s doing, ranging from road construction, rural electrification, provision of standard health facilities and the most recent one was the establishment of Confluence University of Science and Technology Osara. God has been using our young and energetic Governor to do marvelous things and i pray God to continue to strengthen him to do more” he said.
The ADP Boss pointed out that there was need for the people to continually pray for leaders in authority to enable them fulfill their mandate to the people of the State.
“When you pray for the leadership, you can get a very good result. The position of leadership is not easy, they are carrying an enormous load that takes only the grace of God to enable them carry sale safely so, leaders should be prayed for at all times. Also, we need to give them the maximum support, give them our maximum cooperation and also ensure peace in all our dealings”
Speaking further, Prince George expressed optimism that the State, under the watch of Governor Bello will achieve 85% of the 2021 Budget recently signed into law and also commended the State House of Assembly for a job well done.
