NUGA: DG NPC Congratulates Prince Abubakar Audu University Contingents, Management On Victory.

 

The Director General, National Productivity Center, NPC, Dr Kashim Akor has sent a message of congratulations to Prince Abubakar Audu University Contingents to this year, 2022 NUGA games for emerging the winner of the competition having beating Federal University Oye -Ekiti to 1-3.

Dr Kashim Akor in a media chat in Abuja on Saturday, 25th September, 2022 lauded the management of the university under the leadership of Professor Marietu Ohunene Tenuche for breaking the decades record of winning NUGA games by a state university to PAAU.

The Director General says having won the pioneer NUGA cup by the state university since the inception of the university games, showed the determination of the leadership not only to excel in academics, characters of the students but sports and extra curricular activities.

He urged the winners to sustain the tempo to retain the cup in the next year’s competition, saying the record breaking victory deserved rewards from well meaning kogites, state government and the private sector.

Dr Kashim Akor promised to extend more supports in the area of sports and it’s development in the state university, tertiary institutions in the state, as well as the primary and secondary schools level.

He congratulated the Kogi state government for the landmark record, while urging the authorities to invest more in sports development.
