Oyarazi of Ebiraland Commends Gov. Bello’s Developmental Strides, Calls for Urgent Intervention on Okene-Auchi Road

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello have been commended for according attention to even development since his assumption of Office.
The Oyarazi of Ebiraland, Alhaji (Daudu) Isah Mamman, gave the commendation in an interview with Newsmen in Okene.
Alhaji Mamman said the State was blessed having a youthful mind steering its affairs, saying the ongoing construction of flyover bridge at Ganaja Junction was long overdue, while praising Governor Bello for his insight at embarking on such loudable project.
The Oyarazi of Ebiraland noted that the construction of a Reference Hospital, establishment of Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH) Osara, ongoing renovation of Specialist Hospital Lokoja, road rehabilitation across the 21 Local Government Areas of the State, amongst other projects, was worth commendation from all and sundry.
He however called on the Governor to in his usual way, use his good Office to draw Federal Government’s attention to the deplorable situation of the Okene-Auchi road, occasioned by the continuous rainfall.
Alhaji Mamman said there was need for urgent intervention as motorist and other road users now finds it difficult to ply the route.
The Oyarazi of Ebiraland pointed out that the livelihood of the people plying the road for economic reasons will be increased if the road is in good shape, expressing optimism that Governor Bello will without delay, draw the attention of the Minister of Works and Housing, Barr. Babatunde Raji Fashola, to the current situation of the Okene-Auchi road and ensure its rehabilitation.
He also commended the State Commissioner for Works, Engr. Abubakar Ohere for his relentless efforts at carrying out his duties effectively and prayed Allah to continue to see him through.
