Friends and members has described the passage of of Clara Jacob as most devastating and unfortunate owing to her effort in society.
Global Times Nigeria has revealed that Clara Jacob, a young promising and beautiful lady from Jalingo in Taraba State, North-East Nigeria was drowned in the Suites 11 Hotel pool.
According to an eyewitness, Clara, 26, was swimming at the Suites 11 Hotel pool with her friends when suddenly they noticed she was missing.

“We were at the pool this evening swimming when we noticed that she was struggling in the deep end of the pool. We immediately called the pool manager that someone was drowning but he said he does not know how to swim.
“We were just there trying frantically to get someone who could help to no avail. She was in the water for over thirty minutes before her lifeless body was eventually dragged out”.
Mr Jacob Joseph, the late Clara’s elder brother, confirmed the tragic incident, saying the body had been brought to the Federal Medical Centre in Jalingo and deposited in the morgue.
Joseph, who was visibly frightened, expressed disbelief that a hotel in the Suites 11 league maintain a swimming pool with a pool manager who cannot swim and watched helplessly while a young woman perished.
When Global Times Nigeria contacted for more information, Mr Polycap Adi, the hotel’s consultant, claimed he had no idea what had happened and that he would get back to the reporter if the data was correct.
