The Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi has thanked his people of Umaisha/Ugya constituency for finding him worthy to support, following their massively turnout as recorded in most of the polling units in the area.
Balarabe who is seeking for a third term of office is a flag-bearer of All Progressives Congress, APC, spoke shortly after exercising his franchise at his Galadima B polling unit in Umaisha town his ancestral hom, at 9:20 am, said he was overwhelmed with the level of orderliness and peaceful conduct exhibited by the voters not only here but entire Umaisha and beyond.
The elated Speaker said he was very optimistic that Governor Abdullahi Sule, himself and all APC assembly candidates across various constituencies in Nasarawa State will emerged victorious at the polls.

“We are very prepared and having done our best in terms of infrastructural development in an efforts to improve the wellbeing of our people not minding the tribe and religion one comes from”.
Speaking further, Speaker Balarabe pointed out that his contribution in the last years in the floors of the house and quality representation were among other things that his people saw reason to return him.
“I want to commend the courage and sportsmanship of my opponents for challenging me, to me is a democracy in action as majority will continue to her their way.”

“To my supporters from the APC, voters and entire people of Toto LG, our mission and mission remains consolidation and we are equal to the task.” he said
“I have no doubt in my mind that APC will be reelected to continue with it’s good work”.
The political leader of Toto LG noted that the present administration of Engineer Abdullahi Sule, Executive Governor of Nasarawa State has contributed immensely to the development of Toto LG, hence the people want to stay on to any government working for her people.
Global Times Nigeria reports that Umaisha/Ugya constituency has 6 electoral wards includes Umaisha, Ugya, Katakoa, Kenyehu and Dausu. While Toto/Gadabuke has Toto, Shafa-Abakpa, Shafa-Kwoto, Gwargwada and Garagba respectively.
It is also on record that Speaker Balarabe is the only Speaker with highest number of bills passed in the history of Nasarawa State.
