Senator Aduda Leads Dignitaries To Kick Off ‘Mark D Ball’ BasketBall Championship At Abuja National Stadium.

Senator Philip Aduda representing the FCT, on Saturday, led some dignitaries
to kick off the ‘Mark D Ball’ BasketBall at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.
Speaking to newsmen during the exercise, Senator Aduda, noted that sports have always been proven to be a tool to foster unity and peaceful coexistence across the globe.
He added that sport is a medium to engage the youths meaningfully as they strive to be the best in their chosen fields of endeavours.

Senator Aduda, who is the Senate Minority Whip at the senate was the special guest and also a veteran Basketballer.
Global Times Nigeria learnt a basketball tournament is an annual event which is organized by the former President of the Senate, Senator David Mark, which witnessed an opening ceremony with high personalities in attendance, led by Senator Aduda.
Both teams for the opening ceremony were a female team of the Nigerian Customs Service and a female team of the First Bank Nigeria Basketball club.
Senator Aduda, however, encouraged the young ladies to be proud of their profession and give out their best, even as he wished them success and a hitch-free tournament.
