Senator Aduda Sends Delegation To 3-Days Firdau’s Prayers Of Late Pai Chief

The senate minority leader, Senator Philip Aduda, has sent a delegation to attend the three days firdau’s prayers of the late chief of Pai chiefdom in Kwali area council, His Royal Highness (HRH) Alhaji Abdullahi Bala Ibrahim Pai.

Speaking at the firdau’s prayers, the FCT commissioner for Public Complaints Commission (PCC) Ezikel Dalhattu Musa, who led the delegation on behalf of Senator Aduda, urged residents of the FCT to continue to remain united irrespective of tribal, ethnic, religious and political affiliation.

He said every chiefdom across the FCT must continue to sustained peaceful co-existence in their domains among their subjects.

“For us politicians in the FCT, wether you are from APC, PDP or APGA, whatever issues or challenges that affect our people, we must remain united and tackle it headlong because we have no other place than Abuja,” he said.

Senator Aduda, therefore, prayed for the families of the late monarch to bear with the death and see it natural one.

Also speaking, the chairman of Kwali area council, Hon Danladi Chiya, prayed for the reposed soul of the late monarch to continue to rest in peace.

The chairman directed the drilling of hand pump boreholes within the palace premises, even as he cautioned the king makers not to be biased during selection process of the next chief of Pai chiefdom.

He assured that his administration will approve the name of whoever the kingmakers carefully select as the 7th Chief of Pai chiefdom.

Special prayers were observed by the Chief Imams of Kwali, Abaji, Gwagwalada and Kuje Central Mosques amongst several other religious leaders.

Among dignataries that attended the special prayers included, the Ona of Abaji, His Majesty; Adamu Baba Yunusa, MFR, the Etsu of Kwali, His Highness; Alhaji Dr Audu Shaban Nizazo III, the Gomo of Kuje, His Royal Highness; Alhaji Haruna Tanko Jibrin, Aguma of Gomani, His Royal Highness; Alhaji Adamu Saba, the Etsu-Mi-Wako, His Royal Highness; Alhaji Abdulazeez, representative of the Minister of State, FCT, the Resident Electoral Commissioner of Plateau State, Alhaji Halilu Ibrahim Pai, and some other top government functionaries.
