Nasarawa State Social Investment Focal Person, Hon Imran Usman Jibrin, has received in audience, National Social Investment Programmes (NSIP) monitoring team from the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development (FMHDS) led by the Deputy Director Disaster Management, Dr. Abubakar A. Suleiman.
Hon Imran, who doubles as the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Nasarawa State on Humanitarian Services on Monday received the NSIP monitoring team of the FMHDS at the Conference Hall, of his office in Lafia.
Present also were the State Coordinator National Orientation Agency (NOA), Dr. Priscilla, SUBEB Chairman Mallam Danazumi, State Coordinator SOCU, Head of Unit National State Cash Transfer Unit, and Programme Managers of all NSIP Programmes among others.
FMHDS Monitoring team visiting were in the state to assess the impact of the program in the State.

The monitoring team in the company of the State team would on Tuesday have an Interface with some of the beneficiaries of NSIP Programmes in some selected Local Government Areas across the three senatorial zones.
The four (4) main programs under the National Social Investment Program include Npower, Conditional Cash Transfer, Government Enterprise and Empowerment Program (GEEP), and National Home Grown School Feeding Program (NHGSFP).
