The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) for Yagba East Local Government Area ,Hon. Abdulwaqil Olorunjuwon has commended Security officers and personnel of Health department of the Council as well as peace loving citizens for cooperation.
The SSA made commendation when he visited the Owode market to close it as part of measures to curb the spread of Coronavirus.
He said the successful exercise was also carried out at the Churches and Mosques with the sole aim of avoiding crowd s in this critical period of time full of uncertainty.
As part of the proactive measures to stem the tide of the sptead of the scourge,the environment must be clean and people should observe distancing and also avoid crowd.
Hon. Abdulwaqil advised the people of the area to abide by the hyginic policy of the government so as to remain safer. He told them to always wash their hands and cover their mouths and noses to avoid being infected by the unknown disease.
He promise to further embark on sensitization and creating of awareness to the people of Yagba East LGA ” we should continue to pray so that God will heal our land” he concluded.
