Toto LGC Chairman dispels rumours by fake security alert over planned Bassa attack on Toto LGA.

Toto Local Government Council Chairman Hon. Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas has disowned a so called Special Adviser on Security who allegedly accused some Bassa leaders like Hon. Samson Daudu, Barr Yusuf Wodi and Gwatana Kukolo of planning to attack Toto LGA

A statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the Chairman on Media and publicity, Yahaya Idris Toto, the local government Council boss has already been alerted on the threat and has already communicated the state administration.

He said the security outfits are fully prepared to face every security challenges that will threaten Toto local government area.

“Truly we are prepared to face every security challenges, but the allegation levelled against some individuals is yet to be substantiated, especially that we do not have any S A Security in my Local Government.

“Any statement arising from such unknown and fake Advisers could be part of the plan to unleash terror on the people of Toto by some desperate terrorists, who believe they can stage surprises” . Hon Tashas stated.

According to the Toto local government spokesman, it is within the ambit of the constitution that every Nigerian is free to live and enjoy fundamental constitutional rights.

He said all peace loving and economically viable Nigerians that will contribute to the development of the Local government area are warmly welcomed.

Toto Local Government is very much open to both foreign and local investors in view of the availability of human and natural resources, the Council Chairman explained.”

He therefore, urged the citizens to go about their legitimate businesses as the law enforcement agencies are on on ground and ever ready to decimate ruthlessly any terrorist group or persons that may want to test the will of his administration.

He thanked the people of Toto LGC for the continue support, solidarity and prayers they have been giving him since assumption of office, urging them to be vigilant, continue to provide meaningful information against suspicious characters geared towards sustainable peace, unity and development.
