As peoples of Toto local government prepared for tommorow Wednesday, 6, 2021 council election, women and eligible voters have been urged to works hard to deliver ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

A woman mobilizer and one time women leader in the area, Hajiya Hadiza Idris fondly called Madam PRP stating this in an interaction with some women and youth groups who paid her a solidarity visit at her resident, Adagu community, Toto LG kof Nasarawa State.

Hajiya Hadiza Idris said in view of numerous achievements of present administration led by Governor Abdullahi A. Sule, especially protection of lives and properties, provision of dividends and inclusion of Toto LG sons and daughters in his cabinet were enough reason to keep faith with party beyond 2023.

The former women leader while appealing to Toto women to do the needful by shaming the devil in order to continued to benefits from good governance which APC government has vowed to rendered to the citizens of the State.

“I want to used this very medium to thanked my leader and the People’s Speaker of Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi for making APC viable through his People’s oriented leadership put in place for overall interest of Toto people irrespective of religion, tribe and social considerations. ”

“We special appreciation also goes to member representing Toto/Gadabuke constituency, immediate past Commissioner for Health, Hon. Pharmacist Ahmed Baba Yahaya and his brother Director General, Nasarawa State Pension Bureau, Alhaji Abdullahi Sani Umar Oseze and every other critical stakeholders who have immensely contributed to the development of the area. ”

Global Times Nigeria had learnt that Toto LG falls within the western senatorial district of Nasarawa State otherwise known as Nasarawa West Senatorial District alongside  Nasarawa, Keffi, Karu and Kokona Local Government Areas.

Toto local government area also forms a federal constituency alongside Nasarawa local government area, and Toto covers an area of 2,903 km2.

The local government area is bounded to the north by the Federal Capital Territory, to the east by Nasarawa local government area, and to the south and west by Kogi State, and a population of 119,077 at the 2006 census.

Toto Local Government has three districts namely Gadabuke, Toto and Umaisha. There are manny settlements within the area.
