Tribunal verdict: Toto LGC boss congratulates Nasarawa Speaker over victory at Tribunal.
The entire people of Toto local government area of Nasarawa State have whole heartedly congratulate the Most Honourable Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt Honourable Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, on his well deserved victory at the Election Petition Tribunal.
A statement signed and issued to the press by Yahaya Idris Toto, the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Chairman, Toto Local Government Council, Honourable Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas, said the Tribunal’s decision is a reflection of the mandate willingly and freely given to Honourable Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi by the constituents of Umaisha/Ugya state constituency.
Hon. Tashas therefore urged the loser to accept the defeat in good faith and embrace and cooperate with the winner alongside the constituents to build on the numerous achievements so far recorded by the Rt Honourable Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi.
Honourable Aliyu Tashas also commended the people of the constituency for peaceful disposition throughout the period of Tribunal sittings after the declaration of the victory of Balarabe as the winner of the Assembly election.
He urged them to always disregard rumours regarding the election outcome and that of the Tribunal judgement.
The Council Chairman therefore appealed to the people of the area to continue their patriotism by living in peace and tranquility with each other.
