We must win the fight against insecurity – Toto LGC Chair Tashas

….Seeks traditional rulers support to end insecurity.

…..Lead a high power delegation to Ona of Abaji’s Palace.

As the onslaught against insecurity continue in Toto local government area of Nasarawa, the Executive Chairman of the council, Hon Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas has sought the support of traditional rulers within and outside his domain to assist him in the fight against criminal elements perpetuating evil in the area.

Tashas stated this on Monday when he led a high power delegation to the Chairman FCT Traditional Council of Chiefs and Onah of Abaji, HRH. Alhaji (Dr) Adamu Baba Yunusa.

The delegation which had in attendance; The Deputy chairman Toto LGC, Hon Abubakar Haruna Kwanakis, Toto LG APC chairman, Alhaji Shuaibu Ahmed (Adawari), Speaker Toto LGC Legislative Arm, Rt. Hon Abdulhameed Ayizi Mazi, Toto LGC Councilors, supervisory Councilors and other aides of the Chairman.

Hon. Tashas said he was in FCT specifically Abaji Area Council to sought the support of the Revered royal father on how to put an end to increasing insecurity challenges ravaging the two Sister LGAs.

According to the council boss, Abaji Area Council is one of the routes those dare devils used to penetrate into Toto LG and that he has come to work with the authority to stop the criminal elements from advancing into their peaceful and developmental inclined territories.

A press statement from the Toto LGC secretariat issued by the Senior Special Assistant, SSA, to the Executive Chairman on Media and Communications, Yahaya Idris Toto quoted the council boss as saying no stone will be left unturned in the going battle against criminal elements in the area.

The Chairman had vowed to leave Toto LGC better than he met it in areas of improved socio-economic activities, infrastructural development, general administration, security and among others.

He commended Ona of Abaji for a warmest reception accorded him and his team. He prayed God to continue to strengthen the royal father in sound health, long life/prosperity and prerequisite wisdom.

On his part, the Chairman FCT Traditional Council of Chiefs and Ona of Abaji, HRH. Alhaji (Dr) Adamu Yunusa Baba showered encomium on the council boss over his sincere commitment to serve his people with the fear of God.

The royal father noted that he had read so much about his success, programs and policies that has direct bearing to his people since he assumed office and urged him to continue in that direction.

While wishing him the very best, the Ona assured him of his full support in the fight against crimes even as he prayed God for the success of his administration.

It would be recalled that Toto LGC shares boundary with Kogi and FCT respectively.
