Women of Hearts Award ,WOHA is creating a triple-year ceremony celebrating 88 diverse indigenous global women awardees of 2020, 21 , 22 who continuously make a difference in the world.
From hamlets to street blocks , Women of Hearts are every where , it could be those fighting for gender equality or women given opportunities to other women to be useful to themselves and the society.
WOHA stands for such women of value by shining a light on their daily heroism as its tells the people about them and what they are to the society through their contribution to a better world .
WOHA does not only show case women of valor it is also a lightening rod for disseminating information related to female rights and empowerment in its quest to support women initiatives in the realm of education, well- being , promotion of leadership and development.
It holds to humanist tenant of the immutable right of equality and dignity for all human beings which is baked into immovable belief of human goodness as often expressed in the countless civic -minded deeds of numerous women.
Founder and Chief executive officer , CEO of the organization, Princess Desziree Richardson said the current tumultuous years of 2020 , 21 and 22 has un expectedly kept most people socially distancing and shielded due to corona virus but women with inspiration kept going about and beyond the standard convention of their profession to create opportunities that gives hope to the needy.
It is in line with this underlying purpose that WOHA was born as an essential award celebrating the women who are immeasurable to universal sisterhood.
The amiable , down to earth international media personality, Desziree Richardson further disclosed that the selection process for choosing candidates mirrors the legal and forward- thinking nature of the organization adding that they honour candidates by their good deeds not by name recognition or position one is occupying in the place of work or society .
She said the mission of Women of Heart Awards is to create social change in the community and worldwide , giving back and sharing inspiring stories of diverse women globally .
