” Minimum Wage is a product of the law and should not be removed from the exclusive legislative list and put under concurrent list will not be in the best interest of the present and future generation of the Nigerian workers”. The labour leader emphasised.

While advocating for the maintenance of constitutional on the position of workers wages, Comrade Edoka, however , demanded that government commences the payment of approved and assented to new minimum wage by the President for over two years ago.

He said the non implementation of the N30,000 new minimum wage has compounded the problems of the Kogi workers, whose old rate they received in percentage pay can not meet any of their needs.

He lamented that the education sector is collapsing due to acute shortage of teachers as many have retired, died or retrenched due to screening committees set up to find fault in bids to downsize the workforce.
