The wife of the Kogi West Senatorial candidate for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Mrs Stella Sunday Karimi yesterday donated food items, and clothes to women across the western district to celebrate this year’s Christmas.
Mrs Karimi called on the women to look forward to a more prosperous new year that would be more rewarding and usher in the much-desired democratic dividends.
She pointed out that the Christmas Celebration represents a new beginning, with the birth of Jesus Christ and enjoined them to keep faith with the ruling party as the only platform that to protect their interest.
She expressed optimism that the new year would be a better one for women of the Constituency.
She reassured that the Kogi West APC Flag-bearer’s passion for women of Kogi West Senatorial District knows no bounds, however, said those dreams and aspirations can only be realized if the women turn out en mass to vote for the APC in all the elections.
She urged them to remain united in love in this season and be their sisters, and keepers, by sharing with their neighbours.
Represented by Hon. Sanjo Orebiyi, Mrs Karimi thanked the women of Kogi West for their support thus far for the APC and urged them to do more in the coming days for the upliftment of women of the Constituency.
Among the Items distributed were food and nonfood items which includes wrappers, foodstuff, condiments and cash.
