2023: Nasarawa LG Ex – Councillors Urges Magaji to Contest For Senate Seat

Former councillors of Nasarawa Local Government Council during the adminstration of the late Alhaji Aliyu Akwe Doma, has called on Barrister Shuaibu Labaran Magaji, to contest for the Nasarawa west senatorial seat in 2023 general election.
Speaking when he led a delegation of the former councillors to Barrister Magaji in Abuja, on Saturday, former councilor who presented Loko ward, Hon Nuhu Mohammed Loko, said all the former councillors unanimously declared their support for Barrister Magaji, because of his competence and leadership qualities they have seen in him when he served ad Special Adviser to late Alhaji Aliyu Akwe Doma.
He said Barrister Magaji, who was a former Director General, Nasarawa State Bureau for Economic Empowerment, also Special Adviser to the late Alhaji Aliyu Akwe Doma, has the charisma and the legal knowledge to lead the people of Nasarawa west senatorial zone in 2023 election.
He said it was on that premise that the former councillors decided to come together and unanimously resolved to lend their total support to Barrister Magaji ahead of 2023 senatorial election for Nasarawa west.
“And it was on this note that, we the former councillors from Nasarawa Local Government Council decided to come and identified and support the clarion call from different reputable and recognize Associations and denomination from Nasarawa west senatorial district and beyond, ” he said.
Responding, Barrister Shuaibu Labaran Magaji, expressed happiness with the visit of the former councilors for their support for him to contest for the Nasarawa west senatorial seat come 2023 election.

He informed the former councillors that though, he was still making serious consultations with all relevant stakeholders and APC stalwarts from the Nasarawa west senatorial zone.
He further expressed delight for the visit of the former councilors and described their visit as his most comforting moment.
