Election: Kogi Auditor General distributes clothes, Cash, food items to Dekina populace, drums support for Ododo
The people of Dekina local government area of Kogi State are smiling home with a lot of goodies they got from their kindhearted leader and philanthropist, Alhaji Yakubu Yusuf Okala.
Praises from all angles poured in for the Kogi State Auditor General, Alhaji Yakubu Yusuf Okala for being sincere to his promised and justifying his social contract with the electorate.
He is rare in his way to canvass rural political Support for Alhaji Ahmed Ododo and Salifu Oyibo Joel in the upcoming kogi State Governorship election.
Reports from Dekina in eastern flank says Alhaji Okala distributed cash worth millions of naira to over five hundred people in Odu ward one and Odu ward two respectively.
Assisted by his wife, Mrs Zemila Yakubu Okala, also presented clothes and food stuff worth millions of naira to several women Support groups to cushion the harsh effect of economic challenge facing the Women folks occasion by fuel subsidy removal.
While performing the official flagging off ceremony at his country home, Ajiolo Ajikpome community in Dekina local government area on Sunday, Okala explained that over the last few years efforts were concentrated majorly in rural development which are empirical in the horde rural transformation but will henceforth invest in stomach infrastructure.
He posited that the donation of twenty thousand naira to over five hundred beneficiaries is a continuation of his earlier assurance to extend succour and largesse to the people on monthly basis which he stressed started since last month.
Kogi State Auditor General at the epoch making ceremony that attracted All Progressives Congress party faithfuls, traditional rulers, communities heads, community leaders, youths and women Support groups, elected and political appointees admonished them to gave their unfettered Support to the All Progressives Congress Governorship candidate in the November eleven election, Ododo for continuation and consolidation of the gargantuan achievements of the administration of Governor Yahaya Bello.
Okala advised the people to disregard the ‘Igala Agenda being propagated by a session of the people , describing its as ‘pseudo’ adding that what should be the Paramount interest is an agenda that will fast track human and infrastructural development which Ododo mandate possessed.
On arrival , Okala alongside with his entourage had visited the palace of Emakoji Onu Igala [Gbadaligi], a second class Chief ,Alh. Ida Paddy in Ajiolo Ajikpome community for royal blessings.
Okala applauded the state Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for the elevation of the stool of Emakoji to a second class status assuring that elevation of more qualified stools specially Ogohi Agala stool will be considered for promotion to a second class status.
The Paramount ruler of the community, Chief Ida Paddy expressed happiness and gratitude to the state governor, Alh Yahaya Bello and Yakubu Yusuf Okala for making his elevation to a second possible saying that his subjects will demonstrate their loyalty through their unwavering Support to the political inspiration of Ahmed Ododo in the next month poll.
