FCT UBEB Director Rejoices with NUT State Treasurer Over Wedding Solemnization

The Director of the University Basic Education Board (UBEB) in the Federal Capital Territory Territory (FCT) Dr Hassan Suleiman, has rejoiced with the state treasurer of the FCT wing of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) Comrade Abdullahi Muhammed Shafas, over his wedding solemnization.

Dr. Hassan, while speaking with Global Times Nigeria, shortly after the wedding fatiha of the state NUT state treasurer, Comrade Shafas and Makama Lubabatu in Abaji on Saturday, the UBEB director urged the couples to tolerate each other.

He prayed for Allah to bless the marriage and give them a blissful marital life forever, even as he stressed on the need for the bride to show loyalty and respect to her groom.

“My brother, who is also my friend today just added another wife, which I will say congratulations to him. And I want to advise the bride to be more tolerant with her husband because marriage is an everlasting relationship until death do them apart, hence, she should show loyalty and respect her husband,” he said.

Similarly, the state executives and 19 branches of the FCT wing of the NUT has also rejoiced with the state treasurer over his wedding solemnization.

The state Public Relation Officer (PRO) of the NUT, Comrade Haruna Samson, while speaking on behalf of the state executives and the 13 branch chairmen who attended the fatiha, said the entire executives and staff of the FCT NUT were rejoicing with the state treasurer over his wedding solemnization.

He said the FCT NUT prayed for God to bless the marriage, even as he said the union urged both bride and groom to show love and sustained peace with each other.

“And as you can see all the state executives of the FCT NUT and the 13 branch chairmen were here in Abaji today, to witness the wedding fatiha of our state treasurer, Comrade Abdullahi Muhammed Shafas. And we pray God to bless this marriage and also bless the new wife with a twins,” he said.

Among dignitaries that attended the wedding fatiha, included a former Chairman of Kogi -Kotonkarfe, Hon. Shaban Ohinoyi, 13 branch chairmen of the NUT, state NUT executives, head Teachers of various primary schools across the FCT, friends some top civil servants as as political associates and among others.
