As part of efforts to ensure Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State contest for the Presidential seat in the next political dispensation in Nigeria, a Northern group known as Yahaya Bello Network (YBN) on Tuesday stormed Lokoja to declare their readiness at working assiduously for the youthful Governor.

Speaking at the event, the Founder and National Chairman of YBN, Abdulrahaman Muhammad, popularly known as Abdul Amart Mai Kwashewa,
explained that the group decided to join the clarion on Governor Yahaya Bello to contest for President following his good tract records.

Abdul Amart Mai Kwashewa pointed out that in terms of appointment of women and youth into positions of power, Governor Bello scores high compared to his other counterparts.

The prominent Kannywood Producer and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Abnur Entertainment stressed that youths and women has higher votes nationwide, saying a leader who accords attention to them should be persuaded to serve come 2023.

Speaking on security challenge across Nigeria, Abdul Amart Mai Kwashewa praised Governor Yahaya Bello for his magical touch at transforming Kogi State from being the worst State security wise before his assumption of Office to Most secured State in Nigeria.

He described Governor Bello as a man with the ability secure Nigeria for all citizens, stressing that the current security challenge in the Country has threatened all sectors hence the need for a rescuer.

“We have been agitating for the past ten months that Governor Yahaya Bello should answer our call and contest for the Presidential seat come 2023

“Governor Yahaya Bello has concern for the youths, he’s gender sensitive and he’s Security conscious

“It is only in Kogi State that we have seen a female ADC to a sitting Governor, in Kogi we have a female SSG, we have them in their numbers and his administration has very good numbers of youths serving in various positions

“We are all Nigerians, so we know how unsecured our Country has become and we need a man that will salvage us from the security challenge we are facing

“We have no doubt that with Alhaji Yahaya Bello leading the Country, the giant in us will be awakened and we will take our rightful place” he said.

Abdul Amart Mai Kwashewa who congratulated the Kogi State Executives of YBN over their inauguration, charged them to live up to expectations in the discharge of their duties.

The Kefas Hall – one of the largest event halls in Lokoja was filled to the brim and overflow as youth, women groups, associations and other well wishers gathered to witness the unfolding events put together by the Northern support group, Yahaya Bello Network (YBN).

Highlight of the event was the inauguration of Kogi State executive of YBN, Musical performance among others.
