The Senate minority leader, Senator Philip Aduda representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has called on residents of the territory to take advantage of the extension for the collection of the Permanent Voters Card (PVC) by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to go and collect their voter’s cards.

He said having a permanent voters card is their power, which he said they will use to vote for any candidate of their choice during the February 2023 general election.

Aduda, who stated this while speaking with newsmen in Abuja on Monday, said without a permanent voters card, such a person can not vote for whoever such voter want, while urging Nigerians and residents of the FCT to ensure they obtain their PVCs before the end of July, 30th, 2022 which he said is the INEC deadline.

“Your PVC is your power. Without PVC you cannot vote for whoever you want. So you must get your PVC. So I am calling on all Nigerians and the people of the FCT to go and get their PVCs so that they can vote for the right candidate of their choice that will lead us through in 2023,” he said.
He noted that without the PVC, someone can not go close to the polling unit, saying getting a PVC will enable voters to vote the right people into the position of power.

According to him, it is a task for every Nigerian to go and obtain voter cards to vote for competent candidates that will get Nigeria working in 2023.
