Hon. Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim, the only female legislator in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has initiated the drilling of boreholes across the seven electoral wards within her constituency, Nasarawa Central.
Hon. Danyaro, APC and Chairman of the House Committee on Women Affairs, initiated the project by commencing the drilling of two boreholes in Zakun Bello Town, located in Laminga electoral ward of her constituency.
The Tafisu Rural Water Project sought to mitigate water-related difficulties among her people, simultaneously upgrading hygiene standards and promoting comprehensive health.
According to her, the initiative, a pet project in her second year in office, will commence its first phase in Laminga ward, followed by Ara one electoral ward, and will eventually cover all seven electoral wards in her constituency.
Danyaro Ibrahim reaffirmed her dedication to serving her constituents, emphasizing her resolve to fulfill her campaign promises and ensure the delivery of democracy’s benefits to the people.
While seeking patience, support, and increased understanding from her people, Nasarawa State’s lone female lawmaker pledged her support for Governor Abdullahi Sule’s administration to enable his effective governance.
