Hon. Musa Saidu Gude, Uke/Karshi constituency representative at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, commissioned 10 motorized boreholes in different communities within his constituency.
The legislator also provided 10 generators to facilitate water pumping in the benefiting communities.
Hon. Gude, Chairman of the Nasarawa Urban Development Board House Committee, commissioned boreholes and made charitable donations in Karshi, Karu Local Government Area, on Saturday.
The parliamentarian awarded N100,000 each to 10 youths trained in multiple skills acquisition courses at Wing Commander Abdullahi Ibrahim Vocational and Technology Institute, Lafia.
“What I am doing today is to change on the standard of living of the people of my constituency positively.
” As you can see, I have commissioned boreholes, I have donated 10 generators that will help to pump water in the communities that I sank the boreholes for my people.
“As he who provides water provides life. Human being can not sustain their lives without water.
” I have also disbursed N100,000 each to 10 youths trained in different skills acquisition programme at Wing Commander Abdullahi Ibrahim Vocational and Technology Institute, Lafia.
” All in all I have spend over 50 million naira for the various projects and programs” He added.
The lawmaker also donated N10,000 each to 54 women in order to improve on their standard of living.
Hon. Gude, also known as Jagaban Karshi, donated 3,000 exercise books to pupils and students in his constituency to enhance their educational standards.
The lawmaker further distributed 150 bags of salt and animal feed to the Fulani herdsmen of his constituency.
He pledged to maintain high-quality representation for his constituents in the state legislature.
The lawmaker appealed for broad-based support to enable Speaker Danladi Jatau, Governor Abdullahi Sule, and other prominent leaders to achieve their objectives.
While speaking at the event, Dr. Daniel Ewuga Asele, Executive Director of Wing Commander Abdullahi Ibrahim Vocational and Technology Institute, Lafia, applauded the lawmaker’s successful initiatives in delivering much-needed democratic dividends to the people of his constituency.
“This is my second time of coming to Karshi where Hon. Jagaban, has provided dividends of democracy to his people” he said.
He stated his willingness to continue collaborating with the lawmaker and others in training the youths of his constituency in different skills acquisition programs.
The Executive Director appealed to the constituency to rally behind Hon. Jagaban for success.
Hon. Abdul Umar, Director General of the Hon. Jagaban Campaign Organization, praised the lawmaker for his constituent development initiatives, adding that the lawmaker has paid his due
According to Umar, the lawmaker’s achievements encompassed various development projects, including boreholes, road and bridge infrastructure development, job creation, empowerment programs, educational support through school fee payments, and aid for vulnerable members of society.
The DG noted that the lawmaker has equipped youths and women with diverse skills through training programs in the state.
He expressed the opinion that Hon. Gude is the most distinguished member the constituency has produced to date.
In response, Magaji Shehu, Mrs. Godiya Emmanuel, and Mohammed Sale, all beneficiaries, expressed gratitude to Hon. Gude for his kindness and offered prayers for his abundant blessings.
They stated that the lawmaker has transformed the constituency’s narrative by embracing various policies and programmes that directly impact the lives of the constituency’s residents.
