Karimi, Kogi’s only working Senator, donates N15m to support Iyara Cultural Day and Takete Ide Day

…..Says President Tinubu’s reforms already yielding result

In a concerted effort to provide quality leadership, Senator Sunday Karimi, representing Kogi West Senatorial District in the Senate, has graciously donated the sum of N10 million in support of the Iyara Cultural Day.

Senator Karimi also urged the people of Kogi West to remain steadfast and cooperate with the government of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu in advancing the ongoing reform agenda.

Senator Karimi, who was en route to attend two events, was delayed and forced to return to Abuja due to a traffic blockade at Abaji in FCT, Abuja.

Despite this, he sent N10 million and N5 million as his contributions to support the ongoing Iyara Cultural Day and Takete Ide Day, respectively.

He praised the ongoing reforms under President Tinubu, noting that their positive impact on Nigeria’s economy.

Senator Karimi pointed out that the recent decline in food prices nationwide as evidence of these reforms and expressed optimism that Nigeria will soon recover fully.

The Senator emphasized that President Tinubu’s administration took office at a critical time when the nation’s fortunes were at their lowest.

He urged the people of Kogi West to expose and report individuals within their communities who undermine government efforts to address insecurity.

Senator Karimi lamented that some residents are assisting bandits and called for these individuals to be identified and handed over to security agencies for action.
