Delta State Government urges Deltans to apply for NDA 78 Regular Course Admission
The Delta State Government has called on all eligible indigenes to seize the opportunity and apply for admission into the 78 Regular Course of the prestigious Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), with the online application portal now live at www.ndaapplications.net and set to close on Thursday, 30th April, 2026.
This special announcement opens the gates for both male and female candidates of Delta State origin, as well as other qualified members of the public, to pursue a distinguished career in the Nigerian Armed Forces through rigorous military and academic training.

Interested applicants must meet stringent admission requirements to qualify, including possession of a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, with English Language and Mathematics compulsory, obtained in not more than two sittings from examinations such as GCE, SSCE or NECO.
Candidates are further required to register for and sit the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), selecting the Nigerian Defence Academy as their first choice of institution.
Only those who scale the minimum UTME score threshold, 210 and above for Engineering courses, or 180 and above for Arts, Social Sciences, and Science courses, will be shortlisted to print their Screening Test Admission Card and proceed to the all-important screening exercise.
Successful applicants admitted into the 78 Regular Course will embark on an intensive five-year combined military and academic programme as Officer Cadets, culminating in the award of an Honours Degree such as B.Sc., B.Eng., or B.A. in their chosen core discipline, alongside a prestigious Presidential Commission into the Armed Forces of Nigeria.
