The Police Service Commission and the Nigeria Police Force have scheduled the Police Constables Recruitment Written Examination to hold from April 28 to April 30, 2026, in Asaba, the Delta State capital.

This was disclosed in a statement by the Acting Chairman of the State Awareness Creation Committee on Youth Enlistment into Military, Police and Paramilitary Services, Dr (Barr) Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe.

He noted that the exercise will be jointly conducted by the two agencies.

According to the statement, candidates are required to sit for the examination at the exact time stated in their invitation letters or SMS notifications, or shortly thereafter, at the Event Centre (Dome) along Okpanam Road, opposite the Cenotaph Complex in Asaba.

The committee advised all candidates who have successfully passed the screening stage to regularly check their email and SMS for details of their specific examination dates and other instructions.

Applicants have also been directed to comply strictly with the prescribed dress code: white T-shirt, white shorts, white canvas shoes, and white stockings.

Those travelling from outside Asaba are urged to arrive at least a day before their scheduled date to avoid delays.

The examination represents the final phase of the ongoing nationwide recruitment of 50,000 police constables approved by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Meanwhile, Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has expressed confidence in candidates from the state and wished them success in the exercise.
