UNPAF Appoints Professor Knight Adrian Daisley as Barbados National Representative
The United Nations Peace Ambassadors Foundation has appointed Professor Knight Adrian Daisley as its National Representative for the Republic of Barbados.
The appointment was made under the leadership of the Chairman of the Foundation, Ambassador Professor Kingsley Chimdi Ossai.
In a statement announcing the appointment in Bridgetown, Barbados, the Foundation described Professor Daisley as a respected figure in skills education, global development, humanitarian advocacy, cultural diplomacy, international relations and leadership engagement.
According to the Foundation, the appointment underscores its commitment to strengthening international cooperation and expanding global peacebuilding initiatives through experienced and qualified representatives across different nations.
The organization noted that it remains dedicated to promoting peace, intercultural dialogue, humanitarian cooperation, youth empowerment, education and sustainable development through strategic international partnerships and community-based programmes.
It further stated that the Foundation recognises individuals whose contributions have positively impacted society in areas such as humanitarian service, diplomacy, leadership, culture and social advancement.
Speaking on his appointment, Professor Daisley expressed appreciation to the leadership of the Foundation for the confidence reposed in him and for its vision toward advancing global peacebuilding and collaborative international engagement.

“This appointment represents an opportunity to contribute towards greater dialogue, humanitarian understanding, cultural cooperation, and international partnership for the benefit of communities both regionally and globally,” he said.
As National Representative for Barbados, Professor Daisley is expected to support the Foundation’s objectives through advocacy, partnership development, educational engagement, humanitarian initiatives and cultural diplomacy aimed at fostering peaceful coexistence and sustainable development.
