June 12 Democracy Day: Coalition of Youth Support Group for Wadada 2027 Celebrates Nigeria’s Democratic Journey, Endorses Wadada’s Leadership Vision
The Coalition of Youth Support Group for Wadada 2027 has extended warm felicitations to Nigerians, particularly the people of Nasarawa State, on the occasion of the 2026 Democracy Day celebration, calling for renewed commitment to democratic ideals and support for purposeful leadership.
In a Democracy Day message signed by its Chairman, Comrade Jaafar M. Loko, the group described June 12 as a historic day that serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by Nigeria’s democratic heroes who fought for justice, freedom, and the sustenance of civil rule.
According to the group, Democracy Day provides an opportunity for citizens to reflect on the nation’s democratic journey, celebrate progress made over the years, and reaffirm collective resolve to build a more inclusive, peaceful, and prosperous Nigeria.
The coalition also used the occasion to commend the leadership qualities of Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada, describing him as a true democrat whose commitment to good governance, accountability, and people-oriented development has remained unwavering.
The group stated that Senator Wadada has consistently demonstrated a deep understanding of the needs and aspirations of the people, alongside a strong commitment to policies and initiatives aimed at improving lives across Nasarawa State.
Highlighting Wadada’s vision for the state, the coalition noted that his transformative HEARTS Agenda presents a practical roadmap for sustainable growth and development.
According to the statement, the HEARTS Agenda goes beyond political promises, representing a results-driven governance framework built on data, accountability, measurable targets, and strategic implementation.
The group said the agenda is designed to deliver tangible improvements in the lives of citizens, restore public confidence in leadership, and position Nasarawa State as a model for sustainable development in Nigeria.
As the 2027 governorship race gradually approaches, the coalition expressed confidence that Senator Wadada possesses the experience, institutional knowledge, and reform-oriented leadership needed to consolidate on existing achievements and lead Nasarawa State into a new era of progress.
The group further maintained that Senator Wadada is well-positioned to succeed Governor Abdullahi Sule and sustain the trajectory of growth and development in the state.
The coalition called on youths, stakeholders, and all well-meaning citizens of Nasarawa State to unite in support of Senator Wadada’s aspirations, stressing that collective effort is necessary to ensure the dividends of democracy reach every community.
