APC Primaries: Lokoja LG Chairman Congratulates Karimi on Emergence as Kogi West Senate Candidate

The Executive Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area, Comrade Abdullahi Adamu, has congratulated Senator Sunday Steve Karimi (DSSK) following the confirmation of his victory in the Kogi West Senatorial Primary Election appeal.
In a statement and issued on Monday, by Iliyasu Zakari, Senior Special Assistant to the Executive Chairman on Media and Publicity., Adamu described Karimi’s emergence as a clear testament to the confidence reposed in his leadership, unwavering commitment to public service, and enduring dedication to the progress and development of Kogi West and Kogi State as a whole.
According to the council chairman, Senator Karimi’s victory reflects the trust and belief of party members and constituents in his ability to continue delivering quality representation.
“As you embark on this important journey, I pray that Almighty God grants you wisdom, strength, and good health to continue serving with distinction,” Adamu said.
He added, “I am confident that your wealth of experience and passion for the welfare of the people will inspire even greater commitment to the advancement of our state and nation.”
Adamu also commended the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, and former Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, for their steadfast, active, and fatherly roles in ensuring unity within the All Progressives Congress (APC) despite differing interests during the party’s internal processes.

He called on other aspirants to close ranks and rally behind Senator Karimi, the party’s flagbearer, to ensure a landslide victory for all APC candidates in the forthcoming general elections, including the re-election bid of Governor Ododo in November 2027.
The Lokoja council boss further wished Senator Karimi success in the next phase of the electoral process, expressing confidence in his continued contributions to the growth and prosperity of Kogi West, Kogi State, and Nigeria.
