Former Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, has passed a vote of confidence on Hon. Muhammed Yarima Al-Bashir, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the House of Representatives for the Nasarawa/Toto Federal Constituency.

Balarabe, who is also the Chairman of the Governing Council of Federal Polytechnic, Damaturu, Yobe State, described Al-Bashir as the best candidate for the position and expressed confidence in his ability to secure a landslide victory in the 2027 general election.

The former Speaker stated this when Al-Bashir visited him in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital, to present his INEC nomination form.

He congratulated Al-Bashir on his victory at the APC primary election and assured him of his total support, as well as the backing of his supporters, ahead of the 2027 poll.

Balarabe said he had no doubt in Al-Bashir’s competence, capacity, and leadership qualities to effectively represent the people if elected into office.

He further advised the APC candidate to remain focused, humble, and inclusive in his political engagements, urging him to carry everyone along in the course of his campaign and future service.

The former Speaker also called on the people of Nasarawa and Toto Local Government Areas to rally behind Al-Bashir’s aspiration, stressing that his emergence would serve the collective interest of the constituency.
